Holy Cow! I had five pieces selected for the 2013 Spring Show at the Academy of Art, University! Totally blown away. Even better, the event was held at the exquisite Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
I had three pieces chosen for the on-line illustration department, one of which won 2nd Place Best of Show! All on-line selections were shown on big TV monitors. You can see my shark finning narrative piece displayed as such.
The other two on-site pieces chosen were my "Hell Eel" illustration from the cover of the first volume of an indie-short story anthology called Spark, and then my original illustration of a Toxoceras, as seen on my Cotton Crustacean shirts. You can see both above, hung amongst a slew of other selections. Congrats to everyone who got in.
